Sawyer & Medina, a veteran concert and world - touring group have thus far produced 2 studio CD's and a live CD. They've toured internationally with Joan Baez, Jimmy Webb, Gomez, and many others. Their appearances in 1999 on the BBC were so heralded they were invited back for three drive time station calls in one day. Their 18 City European Tour yielded the single Roll The Train, and 2005's Roselea which was nominated by the record label for a total of 11 Grammy nominations in 2006.

Lead vocalist Robert Sawyer is also now working with Larry Graber, a multi-disciplined instrumentalist and lyricist writing, recording and producing tracks for their duo's next album Crescent Moon. Their collaboration known as Velvet Moon has yielded a bevy of new tunes. Many of these songs explore a variety of different rhythm structures unlike anything S&M has released. Producer & Engineer Anne Catalino, NARAS was mixing engineer. Bob Ludwig (Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith) has mastered three tracks thus far.

Velvet Moon's first release is actually a solo effort by Robert and is an austere stripped-down all acoustic version of Winter's Night.
